On my file system for Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS I do have an /usr/include/gtk-4.0 folder filled with files for libgtk-4-dev. So the trouble seems to be that "#include " which happens to be the first line of code is having some type of trouble I know since that the redish squiggly lines underneath it don't go away. I modified launch.json and c_cpp_properties.json for the args property and includePath property respectively so that the code will build when the VS Code build task is run.
